Testimonials

“Massmart had the pleasure of having Xoli speak at our women’s day event . Her passion for an important topic was inspiring and impactful for our women . This is such a needed topic for women in work and I was so glad that I found her and she was willing to come and share with our ladies . She has an amazing spirit and the way she delivers her message is simple and realistic and brings it home for women to relate . Thank you Xoli . Keep shining and spreading the knowledge which is so needed in the workplace.”

Aletta Raju, Massmart: Group Ethics Executive

“I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Xoli Madlala on her book The Perimenopausal Globetrotter, and I must say, the work she’s doing to raise awareness about menopause is truly remarkable. Xoli is addressing a critical need—especially given the disparities and inequalities that prevent many women from accessing essential information about menopause. What I particularly admire about her work is how she is tackling the myths and misunderstandings surrounding menopause and shedding light on the lack of research in this stage of women’s lives. Xoli is making it her mission to democratise this knowledge, ensuring that all women have the information they need. Her dedication to this cause is inspiring, and her work is more necessary now than ever.”

“Dear Sis Xoli I saw you on the conversation capital podcast and Ooooh you have no idea how much you helped me. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your story. My world turned upside down 2yrs ago and things have been happening since then and only after listening to you did I have a light bulb moment that I was in perimenopause from the time when I was 41. DRIVING ANXIETY and BALANCE ISSUES was my symptoms that have been puzzling me for 2 years. I loved driving never had an issue. I cried and cried when you spoke about them. I rewinded that part so many times. All along  I thought I was going mad, nobody understood me when I tried to explain it before. The relief I have now knowing wha it is its like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. After doing tests I now know I am in perimenopause. Looking back I have had so many symptoms in the last few years but always put it off.The best part was learning all this from an African Sister!!!! God bless you Sis keep up the good work.

Hi Xoli,

It’s great connecting with you.

I’m super inspired by your journey and the work you’re doing – peri/early menopause can be a lonely journey and it shouldn’t, we should own it.

I was watching the Conversation Capital episode on YouTube….that resonated with me a 1000%.

I would love the opportunity to meet you. I’ve been on this journey and I’m now in my 50’s
